Hello, my friends,
Another great piece from the Nordstrom Sale! Since the pre-Fall sale ends August 6th, there are just a few more posts of my finds. I promise! Haha! I hope you’re enjoying seeing my picks. I’ve been reading other fashion blogs to see what others are choosing. It’s fun to see such a variety of choices and to see how other bloggers style the pieces!
Today I am styling an adorable navy sweater. This is definitely a top that can be worn now in the Summer and into the Fall and even Winter.
The beauty of this sweater is the details. We all know that the details make the difference, right? And this one has plenty. This cotton sweater is fashioned with a crew neck, made of a soft cotton fabric and is slightly fitted with simple lines. The sleeves are where the action is, with the two-layered flouncy flared cuffs tipped with white. Since I wanted to show it as a summer look, I am styling it with white jeans.
There are still some available if you hurry. It does come in a few other colors. You can find it here:
Don’t you just love these sleeves? It looks like they would be heavy, but it is actually a very lightweight sweater, including the sleeves.
I don’t think a statement sweater like this needs much in the way of jewelry, so I simply added some dark navy disk earrings for a little bling.
And the blue velvet slides just called to me so I couldn’t resist adding them to the outfit along with my tri-color bag from Budapest for a little contrast.
Navy and white is such a classic look that you can never go wrong putting a look together with these colors. However, this top would also look great with jeans and booties in the Fall. And I could see it with knee-high or over-the-knee boots in the winter. Choosing transitional pieces is always a smart thing to do to save both time shopping and money.
