Good morning, everyone! Today I am styling a cozy cocoon cardigan. I love the soft feel and the pretty color! This is the kind of sweater you just want to cuddle up in when it’s the slightest bit cold. While our days have been warm and dry (hence these horrible fires in California), it cools down quite a bit at night and a sweater is generally perfect for a Southern California evening. My thoughts are with the people affected by these terrible fires, which are North and South of us, fortunately. I can’t imagine anything more terrifying and to lose everything that tells your story is beyond tragic.
The Cocoon Sweater Outfit
This sweater is another item from Target’s “A New Day” line. I continue to be amazed by the quality and style of this line at Target and have to stop myself from going there! Too many cute yet inexpensive things!!
There are several attractive cocoon sweater styles at Target. Check these out–many are on sale (priced in the $20 range) that would make great gifts!!
1 – Cable Sweater
2 – Chenille Sweater
3 – Shaker Sweater
5 – Spacedye Sweater
6 – Cocoon Sweater
For my look, I wore a burgundy tank underneath the sweater with my favorite dark jeggings. (These are by Democracy and they are under $40 at Nordstrom Rack–check them out here.)
My pink booties from the Nordstrom Fall Sale are sold out but here is a cute pair by Lucky Brand that is similar.
A pink tote and floral scarf tied the outfit together.
Finally, a statement necklace with red and pink completed my outfit.
There is nothing like a cozy sweater, don’t you agree?
