Happy first day of Fall! While it feels like it’s been fall for some time, especially in terms of fashion, today is the official start of the season. In honor of that, I’m featuring some of my favorite fall outfits.
As they say, trends come and go, but when you find a look you like and feel good wearing, stick with it. Which I tend to do. These looks from past fall posts are outfits I’ve styled again and again.
Favorite Fall Outfits
Who doesn’t like a striped sweater with shades of fall? I like to add a neck scarf to break up the pattern.
Of course, leopard in all colors is a hit any season. This red sweater is so soft and cozy!
I still love this cozy striped sweater in neutral shades with lots of texture. Perfect with black jeans!
Flannel for Fall
Did we say, what goes around, comes around? Well, flannel shirts are always a fall staple but they have staged a big comeback this year. There is nothing cozier, or cuter, than a bold plaid flannel shirt. This fall, I can also wear the shirt open over a top as a “shacket.”
This cute flannel midi dress was a Target find (as many of the items featured are) is a favorite. It’s perfect with a denim jacket and my snakeskin booties!
“Formula” Looks for Fall
Occasionally, I share my formula for putting together an easy look that looks, well, put together. Both of these outfits work well as transitional looks.
A camel blazer is one of those “essential” wardrobe items. While they aren’t just limited to wearing in the fall, a camel blazer and jeans is an outfit that works almost anytime by just changing up the top and accessories.
My Favorite Fall Accessory
Granted, it is hard to choose just ONE accessory. Certainly, boots and booties, jewelry, and handbags have a BIG impact on a look. But, to me, the one accessory that can really individualize your outfit is the neck scarf. It’s a fabulous way to add an element of color or pattern to pull the whole look together.
These are just a few of my favorite looks for this time of year. What is your favorite fall outfit? Please pop a comment below so I can hear your thinking on this topic!
