If you’re looking for some cute pieces for the warmer weather, I’ve got some great affordable spring fashion finds to share today. You don’t have to spend a great deal to add some casual chic to your wardrobe.
How’s the weather where you are? We are having a glorious week of full sunshine and blooming flowers. The beauty of spring really does help us to see the possibilities, doesn’t it? And after the last year of “winter” blues, it’s especially welcome.
To welcome spring, you probably want to perk up your style, right? Read on for some affordable fashion inspiration.
Affordable Fashion Finds
The pieces I’ve put together here are all affordable fashion finds from Target and Old Navy. Most are available in extended and plus sizes, too!
The espadrille mule sandals–both cognac and black–are from Target. There were some comments about them running narrow but my regular width size 6 works for me.
Finally, the white wedges are vegan sandals from Skechers and are super comfortable.
Pattern Mixed Outfit
Here’s a tip that many of you will agree with: you don’t have to wear bright colors and “Easter Egg” solids to look springlike. (Although I like that look, too! I’m a fashion Cameleon, however.) This top is a great example. It’s from Target’s Knox Rose line so it has a younger feel which is just what we all need right now!
This clothing line tends to have lots of patterns with a chic boho style.
The off-the-shoulder neckline has a pleated silhouette and ruffled sleeves, a cute detail. I love the subtle shades in the pattern of mauve with tan, white, and black detail. This top will look great with white pants or jeans as well as your favorite denim. And it will carry you into summer with a pair of shorts and sandals, too.
As you can see, you can style it up–boatneck style, off one shoulder, and off both shoulders, depending on the look you are going for the occasion for which you will wear it.
This style top was big a few years ago but has since kind of gone off the radar. I guess that’s because it doesn’t look all that great with our leisurewear! Lol! I’m glad to see it making a comeback. These tops add such a breezy, feminine look to any pants or skirts.
There are lots of colors and patterns of these ankle pants. I love the light brown gingham pattern with this floral top! Some easy pattern mixing. The pants are side-zip, true to size.
Patterned Tee and Pixie Pants
This woven tee top has such a pretty mix of patterns and will look great with any denim in your closet. It’s a soft stretchy knit and one of those comfy pieces you can wear untucked and still look stylish.
Have you tried Old Navy’s Pixie Pants? I’ve picked up a few pairs over the years and liked them, but the newer versions are made with better material and are a bit softer and lighter weight, which I like. These pants in “zinnia” are such a pretty pop of pink! (They keep selling out, but they do restock them so keep checking the link if you like them.)
Embroidered Top and Jeans
This is one of those easy flowing tops you can throw on with almost anything. For early spring, I’m wearing it with a pair of light wash jeans. It will be perfect with a pair of shorts when the weather warms up.
Gingham Top and White Jeans
Is this a cute top or what? I mean, really, who can resist gingham? It’s by Who What Wear at Target and it’s a well-made top with lots of cute details like puff sleeves and a ruffled neck.
Here I’ve styled it with white denim skinny jeans, by Levi’s at Target. While I am loving the many choices in denim out there, every now and then you just gotta wear your skinnies, right? This pair is classic Levi in a mid-rise style with a touch of spandex.
For sizing info, I sized up from my usual 28 to a 29 as I didn’t want them too tight. They have some stretch but are less stretchy than other brands.
