Hello, my friends! Today I am sharing a basic look that anyone can do–and I’m sure it is a look that you have done! Basic black pieces: black jeans, black kitten heels, and a black sweater make up this all-black sweater outfit. This is one of those sweaters you can pick up anywhere right now, and, of course, the off-shoulder styling is totally on trend. This one was on sale at Macy’s and I know I can wear it for many occasions from casual to dressy.
The sales this season are truly amazing. I actually made a trip to the mall and the sale offers were staggering. Merchants are vying desperately for customers to come into their stores, and are piling one offer on top of another. It is truly a buyer’s market! If you haven’t made it to the mall, give it a shot! It will be worth it.
This is the outfit I will wear to a dear friend’s annual holiday “Festa.” It’s an early evening affair, so a simple all-black sweater outfit is just right. An all-black outfit is perfect for just about any holiday event. Just by adding heels to this outfit makes it dressy. These are a pair of suede kitten heels that I could squeeze my foot in–at least as long as it takes to take these photos! LOL! (I’ll have to bring my Ecco booties for back-up!)
I decided to pair the sweater with my black uneven-hem jeans that are actually quite dressy looking and look great with these heels. I really like the deep black color of these jeans.
My black-and-silver clutch (a really cute version I found!) was the perfect accompaniment. If you can pick up accessories like this when you see them on sale, it’s a good idea. You will find a time when you will want to add them to an outfit.
doggie pin // black sweater // earrings
I included this cute little doggie pin in an earlier post on gifts for girls (see it here). I liked it so much I bought one for me and my son asked me to pick one up for his grandma for Christmas. (I hope she isn’t reading this post! Haha! No more surprise!) And these statement earrings with inky black seemed perfect for this all-black sweater outfit!
Of course, no “photo-shoot” is complete without my own doggies helping out! They kept photo-bombing so we took a picture with them. Our newest dog, Sergeant, is fitting in well with our family and he and Scooter are slowly becoming friends!
How cute are they? I love how scared they look when you actually point a camera at them! I know how they feel!
Thanks for stopping by my post today! I hope you’ll come by tomorrow for some more ideas.
