Happy Friday, everyone!
What are your plans for the weekend? I have been out and about quite a bit, making good use of my Knee Scooter, but it is pretty tiring! I’m counting down the days to when my foot feels better and I can actually use it for standing and walking! Can you say–impatient?! lol
Today I am styling another cute find from Lands End. This beautiful cream and burgundy striped top is a flowy silk charmeuse fabric that came with a matching silk camisole in burgundy. The fit is meant to be a bit oversize in the blouse. I just loved the softness and drape of the fabric, not to mention the silk. (And it is on sale now for less than $40!)
You can see the high-low styling as well as the full French cuffs, which you can leave long or fold back. Silky tops like this just feel so dressy and fun!
I paired it with my dark wash jeggings from Democracy–my favorites!–and my darling burgundy suede heels from Sole Society. I can’t get enough of all the burgundy pieces for Fall! It is such a big color that I am seeing everywhere, and so versatile.
Finally, I added a garnet and blue gemstone necklace and earrings to tie the look together. Mine is from Sundance, a Robert Redford company, that makes beautiful and unique jewelry and clothing items. My husband bought me the necklace and earrings some time ago, but I found a really nice version of the necklace, made with gemstones, called “Dream in Blue.”
Check it out! It’s a beautiful piece for less than $150.
Ready for date night!
And of course, no photo session is complete without my little side-kick! All of our vacations this summer made him pretty upset, so he is careful not to leave my side! Do you notice he is “assuming a pose?” Haha! Scooter is definitely one of the sweetest little dogs we’ve ever had. He loves everybody–especially his mommy–and every dog, including great big ones! At 13, he is getting a little gray in the face, which just makes him cuter!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead. Be sure to check back in on Monday, or–better yet–sign up to have posts delivered straight to your inbox!
