With our current at-home lifestyle, we’re all dressing in a more casual comfy style. Like this adorable leopard print joggers and sweatshirt look.
While athleisure pieces are often our outfits of choice, so too are joggers and sweatshirts in soft, cozy fabrics. And when leopard print enters into the mix, who can resist?
Love leopard? Who doesn’t, right? The many colorful versions of this print are all over the place and so fun to wear. So when I spotted this pink leopard sweatshirt and joggers, I just couldn’t resist. I doubt you can either!
Leopard Joggers and Sweatshirt Looks
While these pieces are decidedly casual, worn separately, you can really change the look and dress them up. We’ve all seen how joggers have evolved and you can now find anything from fleece to satin in this style.
To demonstrate the versatility of these pieces, I’m styling them three ways, but, honestly, the possibilities are endless!
If you’re like me, you love a cute sweatshirt. They are ideal for throwing on when the evening turns chilly or unwinding from a long workday. Fortunately, there are so many prints and fabrics available now and you can style them so many ways!
You may recall these sweatshirts I’ve styled in previous posts: Celebrate Autumn In A Leopard Pumpkin Sweatshirt and Who Doesn’t Love Tie-Dye Fashion? I think it’s safe to say that I love sweatshirts! Haha!
Now to this sweatshirt…
Start your day or unwind for the night in the comfort of this leopard print sweatshirt. The pink long-sleeve sweatshirt gives a cool look that’ll remain classic in your loungewear collection. This sweatshirt is made with blended cotton and is super soft and comfy. Pair it with jeans and sneakers or layer it with a jean jacket to complete your look.
Joggers are basically a type of sweatpant with a cinched bottom. The term “jogger pant” was coined by fashion fanatic, Michael Huynh. Owner of Publish Brand His trademarked label is widely used and his design is highly mimicked and coveted by many other brands today. So the term has quickly become a common description.
The benefit, of course, is that they are more comfortable and flattering for most of us than leggings or yoga pants. Why? Because they skim the legs instead of clinging, which makes them more comfortable in warm weather; they are less constricting and generally lighter in weight than sweatpants. What’s not to like, right?
Features include side pockets that lend functional flair for stashing your lip balm, phone, and other at-home essentials. You can complete your look with a simple T-shirt or sweatshirt, as I have here, or add a pair of slippers for around-the-house comfort.
While this particular pair is in the loungewear style, there are now lots of joggers in silky and satiny fabrics, as well as linen and even lightweight wool blends.
I’m still chuckling as I write this as my husband asked me to do something to not make it look like pajamas!! Lol! Styled together, the leopard print joggers and sweatshirt are SUPER casual. But that’s perfect for a day of lounging, right? I can see these pieces together on Christmas Day as we open presents or after a day of shopping, or for wearing WHILE shopping online!
Joggers With a Graphic Tee
Choose Happy, the slogan on this tee, really speaks to me. In this crazy year of “unprecedented,” I think we have to make a conscious choice to be happy. It isn’t always easy, but it’s a worthy cause. Otherwise, the compounding list of “bad” things will weigh us down and just be too much to be bear. So, I choose happy, and this graphic tee reminds me of that mantra.
Jeans and Sneaker Style
The soft pink and gray in the leopard print was a natural with my favorite gray jeans. By pairing the sweatshirt layered over a white shirt, it goes from loungewear to outside wear.
Joggers With Faux Fur
This furry jacket designed with an asymmetrical front and handy patch pockets. came in a recent Trunk Club selection. I don’t really NEED another faux fur jacket, but really–pink? With a different look to the front? On sale for under $55? It’s a keeper. It would make a great gift, too!
I love it with my gray booties and a lightweight gray turtleneck. This would be a great outfit for a “socially distanced” outside get-together with a few friends. Warm, cozy, and cute!
I hope this post has inspired you to pick up fun pieces like these pink leopard print joggers and sweatshirt and play around with them. They are pretty inexpensive and form the basis for lots of outfits for almost any purpose this holiday season. And beyond!
