Here we are just three days away from Thanksgiving. Still wondering what to wear? Here are some casual last-minute Thanksgiving outfits to inspire you.
How will you be celebrating Thanksgiving? Larger groups and more family members will likely be celebrating the tradition together this year, though it may be a casual get-together. For some of us, it’s always a casual affair!
Just in case, here is some inspiration for last-minute Thanksgiving outfits. You can style many of them right from your closet! But look for some new pieces you might want to add for this holiday season.
Last-Minute Thanksgiving Outfits
Turtleneck and Coords
If your Thanksgiving temps are on the cool side, you can’t go wrong with a ribbed turtleneck. This adorable olive sweater gets a boost with the addition of deep black pants.
While the style of this sweater is basic, the ribbing, dolman sleeves, and dropped shoulders give it a slouchy, casual vibe. Perfect for any casual dinner during the holidays.
I love the super-soft feel of this cozy turtleneck and want to wear it all the time!
The Kut from the Kloth corduroy jeans are available in regular and petite sizes in lots of colors. They tend to sell out in Petites, as the fit is spot on!
A comfy, casual wedge sneaker keeps the look casual, yet stylish. And of course, my vegan messenger bag continues to be a favorite! The messenger bag also comes in black and navy with lots of interchangeable straps.
Floral Top and Jeans Outfit
If there is any chance you might over-indulge (and hey, who doesn’t?), a loose top with a gathered neck is a great choice. The overall floral hides lots of things, too!
This outfit is from the post, Black Wash Jeans are the Latest Denim Trend. The soft slim-fit jeans and top are cute, yet casual. Style it with mules that you can kick off after dinner–and the dishes.
If you still have a pair of your favorite skinny jeans on hand, style them with a cute floral top like this one. The top is lightweight so won’t heat you up while preparing that holiday bird!
These Madewell High Rise Skinny jeans are super flattering! Yes, they are super fitted, but seem to lift in all the right places if you know what I mean! I love the deep indigo color and they will be great to tuck into boots.
How cute are these plaid flats? They are from Steve Madden, who clearly took the popular chain link mule idea into a flat shoe. Are they adorable, or what? They are definitely an “inside” shoe as they are a typical flat that wouldn’t be comfortable for a long stroll.
Sweater and White Jeans
Got white jeans? Look through your closet for a pretty sweater like this one. Go for a soft pastel, like this pretty pink, for a softer, more feminine look. Add your favorite animal print booties and you are ready!
I wore this outfit last Thanksgiving and shared it in the post, Casual Thanksgiving Outfit Inspo, where I collaborated with Ada of Elegance and Mommyhood. Super easy and super cute for a casual holiday look!
For a little added inspiration, here are some casual looks that you can put together from your closet for those upcoming holiday occasions!
