Happy Thursday, everyone!
It looks like we are having winter weather everywhere in the country right now, doesn’t it? The rain just keeps coming here which puts a real damper on the question of “What to wear?”
In answer to that question, I am styling a sweater I bought early on in the fall. You probably saw it advertised somewhere–it seemed to be everywhere after I bought mine! I liked it for a number of reasons: the many colors of the stripes, I could get it in petite, and it is fairly lightweight, which works here in Southern California.
Here I am styling it with jeggings, my trusty Vince Camuto booties, and a basic grey tee from Target. It also looks great with burgundy, navy, a white or denim shirt, and even a rusty orange color. It would actually have a better pop with a more contrasting top, so I will try that in the future.
You have seen my jewelry before: I am wearing the necklace and earrings from Northern Michigan with the Petoskey stone and garnets: very versatile!
Finally, I am most excited about my menswear-style shoes, shown below. I styled the outfit with these, too, but only got the one picture. (You can see the sweater in the pict.) I bought them on sale at Macy’s. They are made by Clark’s and the khaki color is so fun and easy to style! They looked great with this sweater and added a little interest as only cool shoes can do! They are also very comfortable. I know you hear me say that a lot, so you can see that I am very much into comfort!
I hope your Thursday is a good one as we get closer to the weekend. We are expected to dry out and have lots of sunshine so I am looking forward to that! In the near future, I plan to share some interesting sleeve styles and ways to wear white jeans. I am also working on a post with the highlights from Dubai for my travel page. Coming soon!
