I hope you all had a wonderful Easter celebration with your families and loved ones. For today’s post, I am sharing the outfit that I styled in honor of this holiday. All of these pieces have appeared in previous posts, and seemed like the perfect combination for today.
You may remember that this top was a find from Nordstrom Rack that I wasn’t too sure about, and after styling it in an earlier post, I decided I really liked it!
Below is my earlier photo alongside this version.
In the earlier version, I styled it with dark jeggings, with the same pale pink kitten heels and bag. The dark blue in the jeggings pulled out the dark blue tones in the floral pattern; likewise, the white jeans pulled
out the white in both the pattern and the dotted swiss in the fabric. I think both looks worked and could also see wearing the top with either dressier slacks or even my jean skirt.
It is very easy to change the look of an outfit by just substituting one piece, don’t you agree?
Once again, my sidekick Scooter, a Cairn Terrier, insisted on being included in my photo! He really likes candy and wanted to hang out wherever my son’s Easter basket was located!
It just isn’t an Easter basket without some Peeps, right?
Once again, I hope your Easter celebration was wonderful and that your week is off to a great start!
We are headed to Indian Wells, in the Palm Springs area, for a few days, so my posts will definitely include warm weather looks! I can’t wait! Since my son works for a school district, and this week is Spring Break, he will be joining us–a rare and special thing at his age!
I hope you will check back in on Tuesday and see what I am wearing on my little mini-vacation as well as soon desert images. As always, thanks for stopping by my post, and I hope you will follow me on Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and Facebook.
