Hello my friends,
Happy Monday! This week I will be styling a number of looks with denim: something we all have in our wardrobes! And the best thing is, there is a great look with denim for all, whether in jeans, jackets, dresses or skirts. Almost anything goes with this great fabric, as long as the fit is right.
To start off my week of denim, I am styling some different-looking embellished jeans. While most embellished jeans this spring are designed with flowers and flashy patterns, this pair has just a few interesting patches. I found them at TJ Maxx on their clearance rack–they were less than $10!–so I guess they were meant for me. (Clearly, nobody else wanted them! Haha!)
While the patches are minimal, I really liked the “A” as it looked like a symbol for my favorite baseball team–the Angels. I’ve been a fan since the stadium was built. My two younger brothers and I were “Junior Angels” and could get into any game and have a hotdog for $3! My dad used to drive through the orange groves that are now the 57 freeway in our El Camino to get to the back entrance! I am a big fan and watch almost every game. Like most fans, I love Mike Trout, Cole Calhoun, Garrett Richards, Matt Shoemaker and all the rest. I’m hoping for a better season this year!
Here are some pictures of me with some of the “guys”:
I wish I could say I had special friendships with them, but the owner of the team lived in Laguna Beach where I worked for the school district, and I got to meet and talk to a few of them each year at student assemblies. They were all so nice and polite! And put up with this crazy fan!!
SO, back to the denim post!! Haha!
I am wearing a three-quarter sleeve tee from JJill, my Michele watch, large gold hoop earrings, and a fun bendable bracelet.
Once again, I am styling my lace skechers–they are so comfy and cute!
Stay tuned for more denim looks. I would LOVE to add your pictures this week. You can send them to me at aquamarinastyle@gmail.com. I KNOW you all have some great denim pieces.
I’ve decided to send my posts out in the mornings rather than the late afternoon, so look for them in your mailbox by 9 AM.
Thanks for taking the time to read my post. I appreciate you Liking or Sharing it.
I hope your week is off to a great start!
