Are you a Pinterest fan? You must be as you are clearly a fashion lover! If you need inspiration for ways to style the clothes in your closet, this is the place to go. Likewise, if you are looking for something new. As I was browsing the many looks in my feed, I came across this fall sweater outfit.
My first thought was, ooh, I like that. My second thought was, hey, I have all those pieces in my closet! While my pieces are not exactly like those in the flat-lay, the general idea is the same.
So, today, I’m demonstrating how to style an outfit you like on Pinterest your way.
The Fall Sweater Outfit
Not only are these items not new to me, but they also aren’t exactly new to you either. If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ve seen multiple looks featuring the sweater, the jeans, the mules, the bag, and even the jewelry!
The sweater is the most recent piece I’ve acquired. It’s made of super-soft cashmere and comes in several beautiful colors. I tend to select cotton and blends for sweater fabric, but I am able to wear this vee-neck cashmere sweater. The rust color is limited in availability but if you love that shade, there is a faux-wrap sweater in the rust sequoia. I sized up to medium to get a looser fit.
Paige jeans continue to be my absolute favorite. They have just the right amount of stretch to feel good yet still hold their shape. Both my husband and son now wear Paige jeans and love them. (Men’s, of course! Lol!) This pair with the raw-uneven hem is soft and super-comfortable, like all Paige jeans. These high-waist skinny jeans in black are exactly the same style and fit except for the regular hem.
Ah, the mules. I picked these up in last year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. As animal prints continue to stay hot and trendy, I get lots of wear out of these casual shoes and expect to wear them a lot this fall. Here are some cute alternatives, all well under $100:
