Hello, my friends!
We are having a great time hitting all the stores here in Northern Michigan. But our favorite continues to be Haystacks. There are several locations in the area, including Glen Arbor, Sutton’s Bay, and Traverse City, and we started with the closest one here in Leland. The owner, Lizzi, was very sweet and allowed us to shop till we dropped and to take lots of pictures. We just hoped we didn’t scare off the other customers!
As I have mentioned in earlier blogs, Haystacks is known for their reversible skirt called the “switchstack.” These skirts come in short and midi length and a wide array of amazing and colorful patterns.
Haystacks also makes the wide leg patterned pants I shared in an earlier post (you can view them here) and they hem for free. And you will see one of the stretchy dresses in the photos below. They are super cute! As I mentioned before, these are easy care fabrics that you can literally throw in your suitcase so they are perfect pieces for travel.
They make most of the items in their stores, but also have some other great wardrobe pieces.
Here are some of our “finds!” Kathi picked out an olive sweater with wide-leg patterned pants. SO cute! The long colorful skirt I am wearing shows their newest pattern: the Fibonacci pattern. You know, after the Fibonacci sequence in math? Very academic! Haha! And a very cool pattern which could easily be paired with lots of colors.
They carry so many fun colors and patterns that it really requires some serious shopping time! There are accessories of all kinds, including bags, jewelry, hats, and scarves. You honestly cannot leave the store without purchasing something new and different!
You can take a look at some of their pieces at www.haystacks.net.
In the next few posts, I’ll share some of my purchases with you. I go a little crazy at Haystacks! Haha!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you will subscribe (above and to the right) so that you receive my posts straight to your inbox. It’s easy to do and your information will be not be shared with anyone, anytime.
I would love to read any comments or suggestions! Just comment in the box below.
