Are you still looking for a cute outfit for Easter? Or a Spring wedding? This adorable floral print two-piece dress might be just what you’re looking for!
You may have noticed that fashion designers are using sequins a lot this spring. It’s considered one of the spring trends for that reason. While I don’t usually think of sequins unless I’m dressing up, this sequin top changed my mind. I’m trying to decide if this two-piece dress is the one I want to wear to celebrate Easter.
Floral Print Two-Piece Dress with Sequins
These two pieces came in a Trunk Club box. They are by Vince Camuto who makes lovely things that are in between inexpensive and too expensive. And the items are always beautifully made.
And don’t be fooled into thinking it’s a bit too much on the dressy side. The floral skirt would look adorable with a white or pale pink tee and sandals with a hat. I did dress it up a bit with the tassel earrings because the sequins on the top just put me in the mood!
I love a flowy skirt, don’t you? This one is a wrap style with the tie on the side and ruffles cascading along the wrapped hem. It’s lined to the knee which allows the skirt to flow in the breeze. There’s just something so romantic about ruffles; they always seem to make one feel pretty.
This floral wrap skirt also comes in red (SO cute) and another floral print on a white background. Honestly, they are all darling. The red skirt would look perfect with a white tee for a casual warm-weather look. And a denim jacket would round out the outfit.
The floral sequin top has cap sleeves which are very flattering for we women over 50. The sequins are placed over the entire top in the front with a solid pink back. It also looks really cute with jeans!
The Accessories
You know, dear readers, that I’m always on the hunt for cute shoes that are stylish and comfortable. This pair of linen slingback espadrilles is a good choice. The wedge heel is just 2 1/2 inches high with a 3/4 inch platform which keeps your feet feeling pretty good. They come in three neutral colors and a very pretty coral.
We all know that woven and straw bags are, once again, a BIG trend this spring. This cute rectangular bag has a wooden rectangular handle which is also on trend. The snaps on the side give the bag some shape. It’s also fairly inexpensive. Gotta like that! It’s already sold out, but here is a similar straw bag with a resin handle. These items go fast!
Good old Target and Sugarfix have become my go-to for trendy jewelry. Who wants to spend a lot of money on something you might wear for only a few seasons. (Though I must admit, if I like them, I wear them even when they are not on the “hot” style list!) These pale pink ones were a super buy and will go with lots of things in your closet. (Here is a similar pair of pink tassel earrings that come in a set for $20!)
As for the Apple Watch, I can only say–good thing it matched! Lol! I would probably opt for a stack of bangles instead.
Easter Traditions
What are your Easter traditions? Do you go to brunch? Church? Or church and brunch. Maybe you have a BBQ or just kick back at home. For us, we generally get together with our family that lives in the area. But that gets more difficult for the nephews and nieces who are all having babies and raising families of their own.
So, this year we will have a quiet brunch at home and dig into the Easter baskets I’ve been putting together. In the late afternoon, my mother-in-law is taking us to an early dinner. We are looking forward to her long weekend visit with us as she lives in Central Oregon!
Until next time…
Very pretty co-ords and plenty of options for wearing them individually. I adore sequins and have written several posts about sequins for daytime. Great to see you at #WowOnWednesday.
Yes, I’ve been watching your posts and some of the other bloggers sharing their sequin looks, so I was excited to try this top!
Have a great day!

You look fantastic and those sandals are so summery. We have our parents in law on Sunday for dinner, and brunch with friends on Monday!
That sounds like a lovely Easter weekend, Nancy. Enjoy, my friend. And thanks for the nice comment.
