Happy Monday, My Friends! I hope your weekend was wonderful! We even had a bit of rain on Sunday–woohoo! In honor of this great fall weather, I am styling a flutter sleeve top and a long, cozy scarf. This would be a great look for a casual get-together or a shopping trip for the holidays.
The Gap is having a 40% off sale and I couldn’t resist this top. It’s a beautiful shade of pink which not only is trending but it’s a color that looks great on everyone. I love the flutter sleeve look and the lightweight fabric, too.
I also couldn’t resist this scarf. It is super soft and has shades of the ivory, dark pink and gray. So, of course, it also matches my boot! Ugh.
And white jeans are so perfect year round! And go with almost anything, too. These, by Articles of Society, are on sale–see them here. My booties are by Rebecca Minkoff; I’ve styled them in a few other posts, and still love them. The pink is no longer available, but they are available in a pretty soft tan–you can see them here. The low heel is super comfortable and the grommets give them a little edge.
pendant necklace // filigree earrings
For jewelry, I am wearing the long pendant necklace and earrings I purchased at the Nordstrom Fall Sale. I am so glad I picked these pieces up–they are classic and classy and I am getting lots of wear out of them.
There is just something about Fall weather that puts a little spring in your step, isn’t there? Even with my three-pound boot!
How cute is this flutter sleeve top
I’ve just received my next fix from Stitch Fix, so I will be sharing those pieces this week. I would love to hear your opinions as to whether to keep or return!

The pink top really suits you.
Thanks, Pauline! I think it’s an “everyone” shade of pink! Have you found a good pink shade for you?
Well I am an autumn and I only have one pink on my list which is called Rosewood. I havn’t got anything in that shade yet, but years ago I was told cerise pink was my colour altho. that is not an Autumn colour I do wear it sometimes with a turquoise scarf.
Well, when I have some tan, I am actually an autumn myself. I know that coral and salmon colors look good. Give them a try and let me know! They do say that pink is the most flattering for all skin tones. You might even try this shade on the Gap top–it has a coral touch to it. Good luck and keep me posted!
Yes I do wear corsl. sometimes
Oh, that’s good then! Sometimes that IS the right pink! Best wishes, Pauline!
