Looking for fresh ways to style white jeans for spring? Let me count the ways.
The first consideration? Fit. Shop around until you find the perfect pair for you. Consider your body type. To create height, go for a higher waist. Ditto if you want to create a smooth line at the waistline to eliminate any spare tire.
Think about comfort. Do you enjoy the slimming look and feel of skinny jeans? Just be aware they will highlight every lump and bump in white. Straight jeans? Do they flatter your figure or make your legs look stumpy? Bootcut? Hmm. If you can find a style that works on you, go for it!
For me, I like a pair that skims the body but isn’t too tight in a white jean. When I found the pair I’m sharing today, I was thrilled. High-waist? Petite length? Skimming but not skinny? This pair checks all the boxes. Perfect.
There are unlimited options for styling white jeans in every single season of the year. For this post, I wanted to inspire you with a fresh look for spring. Let me know what you think!
How To Style White Jeans for Spring
As this first post in this series, let’s start with an all-white look. The starting point, of course, is the white jeans. These jeans are described by Madewell as Vintage Style, meaning they are not the typical skinny jeans. They are a slim-fitting jean with a raw hem. The hem isn’t finished but still looks polished in the “Tile White” color.
White is a symbol of peace and purity. Peace seems like a relevant theme right now, don’t you think? We can all use a little peace as we deal with the current COVID-19 crisis.
White-on-white creates a simple yet elegant look at any time of year and is a bold look for spring. Almost any white top will work but for this outfit, I’m styling a very simple white cotton blouse. Here is a link to a similar white blouse with tie sleeves.
The trick is to add some texture somewhere in your outfit. Woven and crochet-look accessories are a big trend this spring. and look amazing with an all-white look.
The macrame belt, a Target find, adds some textural interest and ties in with the sandals.
A white shoe is a great piece to add to your shoe wardrobe in the spring These wedge crochet sandals are from Walking Cradles, meaning they are not only cute but they are super comfy. They give the look of a high heel at 3″ but the platform is 3/4″ so they are easy to walk in. The rope-wrapped heel makes them trendy and cute. The footbeds are soft and plush. They make great comfortable shoes!
Another big trend is statement earrings made of natural fabrics, like this set of rattan earrings. With four pairs at $13, it’s an easy trend to try! This set is a big trend all across bloggerland!
If you’re only game to try one style right now, here is the pair of rattan hoops I’m styling with this outfit. They come in four colors and are highly rated.
My bag is a carryover from last year. It’s one of those pieces that it’s smart to hang onto. Here is the link to a similar straw round satchel handbag. Straw and woven bags trend almost every spring and summer. Even if they don’t trend, they are a versatile bag that goes well with any summer outfit from casual to dressy. We all love them, right?
So even though most of us are sticking close to home at present, we can start thinking about our upcoming choices for fashion. Once we get through the worst of this crisis, feeling and looking good will be a big plus! Styling an outfit that you know you look good in–and most importantly, feel good in–is a big boost to our mood.
Look for my next posts for more fresh ideas to style white jeans and lots of other spring looks.
Be well, my friends.
