Happy Tuesday, my friends,
With my house still torn up and full of workmen, I had to find an interesting place to take photos for today’s post. Up the street from my house is a little trail called the “Nature Trail.” It’s a short tarmacked walkway along a hilltop with pretty plants and a nice view. So that is the scene for today’s photos!
Today I am styling a basic black blazer and jeans. This blazer is part of a two-piece suit from my former career life, and was made by Lands End. Lands End used to include really well-made tailored work pieces in their line, but they are much more casual now, with some exceptions and individual pieces.
I am once again wearing my ripped jeans from Articles of Society paired with a long tank from Soft Surroundings. I really love the versatility of this tank, and the lace along the bottom is intricate and very soft. I added my denim patterned square neck scarf and turned back the sleeves on the jacket to show the blue striped lining.
I think I mentioned before how soft these jeans are and I really like the patchwork pattern and the frayed hems.
And, of course, you can see my pink Converse sneakers. The color is totally on trend as is the casual shoe style. I picked mine up at TJ Maxx for $39 and saw them in many colors last week at Macys for $35!! But I really like the pink and will be able to wear them with lots of outfits.
You can see how green everything is in the background! I will be doing a post for my Lifestyle page showing some of the sights here in San Clemente in the near future. It will include some shots of the very green hillsides. So pretty this year!
I am as usual styling my Michele watch which I love.
I hope you have an enjoyable, relaxing evening. Please check in tomorrow around this time for my next post. Thanks to many of you who have been sharing my posts on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter. I really appreciate you helping me to build my following!
