Good morning! With Thanksgiving this week and Christmas just around the corner, my mind is on gifts for the many ages on my list. Who will you be buying gifts for this year? Today I am sharing a list of some of my favorite things for the little ones on your list.
Gifts for little ones
First is this absolutely adorable stuffed elephant. Not only is it super cute, but it is also interactive! You just squeeze the left ear and it plays “Peek a boo” and “Do your ears hang low.” I remember so well playing and singing those tunes to my little Max. Since he is 25, there may be a little one in the future, but not yet!! LOL! Check out Flappy the Elephant here.
As a career educator, giving books as gifts is a standard practice for me. My son had a huge
collection of books as a child and I have put away many of them for his future little one. The rest I gave to nieces who became teachers–a worthy cause! I bought this darling book, Giraffe’s Can’t Dance, for one of my great nieces and it is the cutest story. Take a look here.
Did you build a tent in your house when you were little? It was always something fun for kids to do. My son and his friends were constantly building forts in our house. Well, now there are such cute alternatives to the mess of blankets and pillows draped over tables and chairs!! Check out these super cute teepee tents! You can spend a lot more on some very fancy versions, but I thought these were at the right price point for a kid’s holiday gift. You can see the pink version here, and the dinosaur version here.
OK, as a fashion blogger, I admit I always loved to “dress up.” Haha! Here are two cute ideas for dress up items for kids. The superhero capes would be a big hit! My son loved to wear hats as a little one–fireman hats, policemen hats, hard hats, and so on, and this little set has a nice variety. These two sets would work for either the little girls or the little boys on your list. You can view the “hats” collection here, and the “superhero capes” here.I
I hope this little collection of children’s gifts has given you some ideas or inspiration for your holiday shopping for the little ones on your list. They are such an easy group to please and these ideas would definitely be a hit!
Thanks for stopping by today. I will include some additional holiday gift ideas for the hikers and girly girls on your list in the coming days. In the meantime, I know that all of you–like me–are focused on getting that Thanksgiving meal put together and looking forward to a wonderful holiday with your family and loved ones!
Warmly,
