Hello, everyone! It’s Friday at last. Are you ready for the weekend? This week I’ve shared a couple of skirt outfits for casual or dress and you can see them here and here. Today I am sharing an outfit with a floral skirt all dressed up for work or a social event.
A little side note
You may have noticed that I have only posted three times on the blog this week. I have been experimenting with what works for all of you. For some posts, I have lots of views and for others, very few. We all lead very busy lives and I want to find the sweet spot for all of you to send them out. I would love to hear your feedback. Thanks to some of my besties who tell me they read my blog every day!!
The floral skirt outfit
Yes, this is the same skirt I styled on Wednesday. For today’s look, a faux suede jacket that came in an earlier Stitch Fix completed the look. It’s a beautiful jacket and I am finding lots of ways to style it! Any kind of moto jacket would work to change the look of a floral skirt and if it adds a touch of color, even better! My top is a simple sleeveless shell with ruffles at the neck and sleeves from Loft. You can see a similar one here. These are great to layer and the ruffles also help the top stand out on its own.
Can you tell I am LOVING my white mules!! I am seeing versions of these coming out of the fashion shows for spring. Give them a look; they are relatively inexpensive but totally trending! (As for the white legs? Oh well. Something to work on, for sure!! Haha!)
The skirt has a bit of yellow in the embroidered flowers so my mustard clutch (similar here) was a nice touch.
Since you can’t see my earrings, I will only say they are white tassel earrings and very cute!! haha!
Results of Faster Way to Fat Loss Program
On a final note, I promised to share the results of my Faster Way to Fat Loss. I just finished the sixth week on Sunday and have lost nine pounds and several inches. My clothes are fitting better and even my skin and hair are healthier. Most importantly, the results of my blood work are the best they have been in years!! Blood sugar, triglycerides, the whole works. SO, I can say that fasting and carb cycling truly work. I have been doing lots of reading on intermittent fasting and carb cycling and there is a strong scientific basis for both. A new study outlining the value of eating quality foods also validate the practices, as participants are to eat only nutritional whole foods for the program. I am starting a new round next week so that I can incorporate more of the workouts included and incorporate these practices into my lifestyle.
