For most of us, leather is a classic that we go to when we want something super nice that will last. In jackets as well as shoes and bags. Now, you can even get leather skirts and pants. I recently saw a leather jumpsuit on Pinterest! But when we want to test the style waters, or just try something out for a test drive, we go with faux. (Did I mix my metaphors? Yup! Lol!) To illustrate, I’m sharing a stylish faux leather skirt that is both adorable and affordable. Can’t beat that, right?
And what could be more fall-ish than a floral top? Florals in non-traditional color combinations are trending right now. And they look fab with a neutral pair of pants, your favorite jeans, or a skirt, so you can get a lot of use out of just about any floral you choose.
This faux leather skirt is in a rust or cognac shade that goes with everything!
The Faux Leather Skirt Outfit
I saw this cute faux leather skirt online and had to go in and try it on. I love the slight a-line shape that is flattering on almost anyone. The buttons on the pockets give it a cute detail.
This skirt was very affordable as it’s on sale as part of Loft’s 40% sale. I try to buy from Loft when they have these sales as they take place frequently. That’s the best time to pick up some cute things without breaking your budget.
In addition to this skirt, there are lots of other styles and colors in faux leather. I’m sharing a few of those with you here, including a faux leather pleated skirt:
A floral blouse or top is so versatile. I choose this one for the beautiful fall-like shades: the rusty red, the blue, soft grays, and the off-white shades.
I’ve already worn it with a pair of navy, wide-leg crop pants for a professional event. It looks amazing with the navy! So you know it’ll be great with a pair of jeans.
Here are some super options; any of these would look amazing with any faux leather skirt:
Once or twice a year, I select a handbag that is a high-quality leather that I can use for many years to come. After lots of research, I chose this small tote bag by Tory Burch. I’m not usually a fan as some of their items have really big logos on them, but the gold logo on this one is small enough to not hit you between the eyes! Lol!
The port color is a burgundy shade that goes with almost everything. It comes in four other colors, including black. For me, the open interior compartments work well as I like to be able to shove things in without messing with a zipper! However, there is a center compartment in the middle with a zipper for your wallet, etc. You’ll be seeing it a lot in future posts!
If you haven’t yet, do step outside the box and try a faux leather skirt! I promise you’ll love it!
