If you are thinking, Oh, no, not the Nordstrom Sale AGAIN, bear with me. I do pick up a few pieces from the sale and have found it a good time to pick up denim. So, today, I’m sharing a couple of jeans outfits that just happen to come from the sale! I would’ve been “sold” on these pieces regardless!
Like most ladies, I shop the sale online. I put items into my Wish List and then organize them into mini capsule wardrobes before deciding what to purchase. To me, that means pieces I can mix and match many ways.
Since I wanted to try different jeans styles and brands, I ordered four. I’ll be deciding in the next few days which ones to keep, and would love your opinion!
The four brands are NYDJ, Frame, Kut From The Cloth, and Wit & Wisdom.
The Jeans Outfits
Jeans Outfit #1
OK, I have to confess. I love this outfit!! Jeans and a tee? Oh, yeah, it’s my go-to for everyday casual.
Please note: MANY of these pieces are showing as SOLD OUT. And the general sale to the public won’t start until Wednesday!! Yikes! I’ve linked to them anyway in the hopes that they will be restocked. Most of them will be available at the regular price after the sale as well.
A graphic tee is always fun to wear and I’m a little picky about what mine says. I am really offended by offensive sayings on a tee. It reminds me of folks who rant and rave on social media when you know they would never say that to somebody in person! Anyway, this Queen tee was calling my name as I’ve always loved their music. And Freddy Mercury was such a talent with such a tragic story. Can you tell I also love Bohemian Rhapsody?! Lol!
Of course, the Queen tee is sold out, but there are lots of these tees by Daydreamer with various bands and sayings to choose from.
Are you a fan of NYDJ? I’ve been hot and cold but decided to try these Marilyn Stretch Straight Jeans. As they run big, you should always size down. I never wear a 4P, but ordered these and the fit is just right.
Naturally, Birkenstocks Arizona Sandals are the ONLY shoe to compliment this retro outfit! I have to laugh when it’s called a “vintage” look, as it was a common look in my teens!
Pretty Pink Top and Jeans Outfit
I love a pretty blouse since you can wear them with anything. They can dress up a jeans outfit as I show here, and look great with a skirt or trousers for work or a dinner date.
This satin top is by Vince Camuto and these blouses are always well-made. This cutie with the puff-sleeves is another take on the Rumple Fabric Blouse I have in white that is also on sale. It comes in six colors and they are all gorgeous.
The jeans styled here are Kut From the Cloth straight jeans. These are great jeans for the price and the fit is great, too!
The pointy-toe booties are a great buy and come in four colors!
Frame Designer Jeans Outfit
There are so many great jeans styles at decent prices to choose from that I rarely go for designer jeans. I know lots of ladies like AG jeans, but if I had to choose a designer brand, mine would be Frame. They fit me well and have lots of styles. So, I’m giving these Frame Straight Leg Jeans a try as they are at a price that isn’t horrible.
They are a nice dark wash and can be worn with rolled cuffs or no cuffs. The waist is mid-rise and actually fits nicely.
So, I figure if I’m showing you designer jeans, I should style them a little dressier! (Of course, they are also great with a tee and sneakers!) An off-shoulder top in a leopard print?! Can’t resist. We can wear leopard anytime, right?
I love to add a pretty top like this for a feminine, romantic look!
Wit & Wisdom Jeans Outfit
Jeans and a sweater are the quintessential fall look so I had to include it here. You saw this outfit recently in the post, Fall Trends from the #NSale. You simply can’t go wrong with Wit & Wisdom jeans–the price and the fit are just right. And a neutral camel-ish sweater is a wardrobe workhorse.
SO, lots of choices in jeans here, my friends!! If you had to choose, which would you keep? Like you and everyone else, one always feels put together in a cute jeans outfit.
