Happy Friday, my friends! What are your plans for the warm weekend ahead? I need to get some work done in my vegetable garden, especially since I planted pretty late this year. There is something so relaxing and fulfilling about working in the soil and watching things grow.
Today I am styling a tunic-length tee that I will be packing for Cabo. It will be in the 90’s there, so I will definitely need light, comfortable clothing.
This top is another inexpensive one from the Gap. Since it is already pretty warm, I styled it with my jean skirt. To be honest, it is NOT one of my best looks. After looking at the pictures, I can see that it would look way better with white or regular jeans or even Bermuda shorts. This is such an interesting journey, looking at my outfits and reflecting on what looks best. There have been lots of hits and misses which mean lots of learning about myself beyond my clothes. Writing about fashion and seeing pictures of myself all the time has been interesting, to say the least. My hope is that my personal journey will inspire others to ignore the so-called rules and wear what they love to feel their very best. To try new things and pay attention to how it looks and makes them feel. And to play with color!
I found this quote from Anne Klein that says it best:
Clothes won’t change the word. The women who wear them will.
My philosophy as well. Don’t you agree?
The best I can say about this shoot is what a pretty day we are having! And don’t you just love the purple Agapanthus blooming in the background!
As always, thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to check out today’s post. I hope you will check back in tomorrow. As always, thanks for LIKING and SHARING my posts. I also appreciate that so many of you are following me on Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook
