OK, ladies, who among you remember good ol’ Levi jeans? You know, the thicker ring-spun denim with absolutely NO stretch? Well, jeans have improved in the area of comfort, but there is no substitute for a good pair of traditional denim jeans. Like Levi’s Wedgie Jeans.
The wedgie in the title is a bit ominous, isn’t it? This style does hug the rear but not quite as much as the name implies. And that is definitely a good thing! Haha!
Like any pair of flattering jeans, there are lots of ways to style them. As is my new normal on most days, I’m styling a casual look.

These crop jeans are in the straight style, which used to be the only style there was! Am I aging myself? Lol! Those of you of a certain age know what I’m talking about. They are also considered “cropped” and the length is 26 inches. I bought my usual size 28 (which is a 6), and the fit is just right, even though there isn’t any stretch.
They have a hidden button front and as they are new, they are a bit stiff to button up. But like all good jeans, they will soften over time and be at their best in about 6 months after several washings. That’s my favorite thing about the “old” style jeans–they just get better over time!
This simple short-sleeve top is one that is so easy to wear. You can wear it tucked in with a belt and it has just enough weight to sort of float over your waist.
You can also wear it untucked over your jeans for a super comfy casual look and feel. It has a longer back with a cute button-back detail. The front has a gathered pleat at the vee-neck which gives it a loose-fitting shape. It comes in black and white and two cute prints.
I’ve styled it by itself, and also with this adorable coral sweater. Even though it’s almost spring, one never knows about the weather at this time of year, right? This open-front chenille sweater was a bargain I picked up at Target and I’ve already worn it quite a bit. It’s super cozy and currently on sale for $20!
If you are looking for a comfy pair of slip-on sneakers, be sure to take a look at these. They have an internal wedge making them fit perfectly and give just a bit of height to the shoes. I love that! After my foot surgery a few years ago, my podiatrist said it was actually healthier for your foot to have a bit of height rather than a perfectly flat shoe. So there you go!
They come in 5 colors, including a lovely blue, a taupe color, and snake print.
If it’s been a while since you’ve branched out and tried a new style of jeans, give these Levi’s Wedgie Jeans a try. You’ll like them and likely feel like you’ve gone back to the future!
