Hello, friends! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Today I am styling a super cute floral tank top–perfect for summer!
Yes, it is sunny and–once again–breezy! So much for the hairdo! This top is called “falling into you” by Glamour Farms and you can find it here. They have very cute items for very inexpensive prices. The chartreuse capris are from Soft Surroundings and I have styled them before. They are really comfortable and flattering in a pull-on style, and they come in several colors. Here is the link to the capris. What is the difference between crops and capris, you ask? Crops end slightly above the ankle, while capris end higher up, between your knees and your ankles. They are sometimes called “petal pushers.” Anyone remember that term? Showing our age here? NO–just our knowledge and experience, right? LOL
The photo above shows the slightly hi-lo hem and the babydoll-style waist. It is flattering on most everyone with the flowing fabric and cut. I am styling my wedges from Lucky Brand once again. I love the neutral tan and the wedge heel.
This bag is my one leather purchase of the season. I mentioned that I buy several “vegan leather” bags to broaden my handbag selection, but only one or two pricier bags a year. This one is by Gigi New York in an almond color. It tends toward a pale pink and is a good neutral bag. This one is the Hannah Tote bag, and you can click here to view the webpage. I bought mine when there was a 25% off offer.
These fun bright blue earrings are also from Glamour Farms. I am loving the colorful and fun earrings and bracelets that are trending, but I believe it’s a good idea to buy some of the less expensive versions in the event these give way for another new trend! These earrings were less than $20 and come in a variety of colors.
I am so glad that summer is here! Over the course of the summer, I will be sharing a variety of all things summer–skincare tips for women over 40, gardening ideas, decorating ideas, great reads, and, of course, fashion. I will also share info about all my summer trips, including what to take and how to pack. For my Southern California friends and visitors, I will continue to share hidden spots along the coast. I would love to hear any other topics you might be interested in.
Until tomorrow, please take the time to check out my posts on Pinterest, Instagram, and.Facebook.
As always, thanks for Liking and Sharing my posts.
Warmly,
Darlene
