An olive and navy look is such a great combination to style. These neutral shades play beautifully off one another and with a few accessories can really pop.
One easy way to wear this combination is to pair an olive green top with dark indigo jeans, as I did in a much older post, How To Style Olive Ankle Boots For Fall. Here’s what that might look like:
I am still loving these open-toe booties from Walking Cradle. Here is a very cute peep-toe bootie in olive.
Another way to style this combo is with a striped top, as in the post, Fall Essentials: Olive Jeans and Striped Tops.
But if you truly love olive, invest in a pair of olive jeans or pants. They will go with so many tops in your closet. Like red (yes, red!), yellow, navy blue, any neutral shade of tan or beige or ivory, pink, lavender, and prints galore.
Olive camo print is another versatile way to wear this color as it serves as the perfect backdrop for all the colors above.
The Olive and Navy Look
The Sweater
Who doesn’t love a good navy sweater? They virtually go with everything in your closet. And navy always looks crisp and tailored.
This ribbed v-neck is super flattering. It has side slits and a touch of cashmere in the blend making it cozy and soft. It’s also available in lime, ivory, purple, yellow, and black. The fit is generous so buy your usual size.
Olive Jeans
The color name for these olive jeans is “Martini Olive.” Makes perfect sense, right? Styled in a straight leg style they are super comfortable and right on trend. They are by NYDJ, so size down one size as they are very stretchy.
Camo Jacket
It’s always fun to add a little camo, isn’t it? Next to leopard, I’d say this print is a big trend. It has been for the last few years and shows no sign of waning. And why should it? It works very much like a neutral, just as we say about most animal prints.
You may recall this hooded utility jacket from the post, Camo Utility Jacket with a Twist. The pink hood is detachable which makes this coat super versatile. Incredibly enough, it’s still available, and at 50% off! It comes in sizes XS-XXL and there are lots of sizes still available. If you don’t yet have a camo jacket, this is a good time to pick one up at an affordable price!
Accessories
My husband bought me these gold hoop earrings for my birthday in December. If you’ve been following me awhile, you know that hoops are my earring style of choice. Not that you won’t find me with a statement earring or two now and then!
A vee-neck seems to call for a chain necklace and this cute initial dog tag necklace is perfect! In gold or silver, choose your initial for a fun little necklace. Or pick one up for a gift!
The open-toe booties are an older purchase from Walking Cradles. I love the style and the color. For a more casual olive bootie, I’ve had my eye on these wedge booties. SO cute!
My guess is you already have some pieces in olive and navy in your closet. Put them together and see how many combinations you can come up with! It’s a combo that always works!
Okay, so when all the boot ordering was finished, I ended up with 9 new pairs! LOL. I am debating sharing a post with all 9 but I am a little embarrassed by my ridiculous over-indulgence so I may not share it!

You have nailed this color combo! Each of these outfits is so pretty! I love the last look with the camo jacket (I’ve been wanting one!) and the idea of doing this with dark indigo jeans is clever, too!
