Happy Monday, everyone! I hope your weekend was perfect! Today, I am sharing a great jacket; the baseball style that is once again trending in a blush pink. And it’s such a pretty day, I decided to take the pictures outside. The sun is so bright and the breeze is blowing! That’s a disclaimer for the sunglasses and/or squinting, and the hair blowing! lol!
Everything is still pretty and green and the pink bushes–India Pink Hawthorn–and the purple ice plants are in full bloom at this time of year. Of course, the palm trees go year-round!
I just love this satiny jacket with its pink and white color and gray band along the bottom. It’s another “find” from my local hair salon/boutique.
It is definitely the kind of day that requires trainers or sneakers. I wondered where that name came from so did a little research. Apparently with the advent of rubber-soled shoes during the Industrial Revolution (around the early 1800’s), people were able to walk around much more quietly or “sneak.” By 1895, the term “sneakers” was published as a word for these shoes in the Funk and Wagnall’s dictionary. Now, how about that trivia? In any case, I am once again sporting my lace sneakers by Skechers.
My gray and white tank is from Nordstroms and I am (once again) wearing my Talbots ankle jeans.
I hope you are looking forward to another great week! I just love that the days are longer and the weather is warming up, don’t you?
Thanks for visiting my blog on your Monday and I hope you will check back in tomorrow. Thanks for your support!
Warmly,
Darlene
