Ready for some weekend? Me, too! It has turned very chilly here in Southern California this week, but nothing compared to the Arctic air expected back East. And who knows–it could easily turn warm anywhere across the country at any time! We are definitely having some crazy weather. I attended a business dinner this week and needed something both stylish and warm, so this long pink cardigan fit the bill. Especially since I only had to walk from the parking lot into the hotel! lol! Yes, I’m a bit of a cold-weather wimp!
The Long Pink Cardigan Outfit
You’ve seen all of these pieces–except the blouse–in previous posts, styled a number of ways. You can view them in these posts:

That’s the beauty of finding versatile wardrobe items in tones that pair up well with your other pieces. You can make any number of outfits.
This is a great cardigan that doesn’t cost a fortune. I don’t believe the pink is available but it comes in some other colors as well and a few are on sale. This long pink cardigan is especially soft and I love the ties at the open cuffs. Details, details! The bag is an inexpensive one that has also served me well! I have shared that I only invest in one really good (i.e. expensive!) bag a year because it’s much more fun to be able to switch between bags for different outfits. Sometimes the bag can absolutely make the look!
The pull-on pants are so easy to wear. I used to think any pants that are pull-on are “old lady” pants, but there are lots of super cute styles ever since leggings came into the picture! Haha! (It can’t be that I am becoming the old lady, can it? lol!) They are from Chico’s and are under $100 and come in several colors.
The blouse is several years old; it was one of those good buys from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It looks cute with jeans, too! And polka-dots are big right now so you can easily find a cute blouse. Here is a cute one from WhoWhatWear: pink polka-dot blouse.
And finally, these amazing shoes from Sole Society! I have certainly gotten my money’s worth out of these shoes. Even though I couldn’t wear them the first few months that I had them!! (It’s so great to wear most of my pretty shoes at last–even these pointy-toed ones!) They are still available and come in several colors.
How do you organize your closet? By arranging like colors together you can easily pull pieces together to make several different outfits. My sister-in-law made a notebook of looks she likes and kept it in her closet to remind her so she could put pieces together on a busy morning. That works! Of course, so does Pinterest!
