Living along the coast, the evenings almost always cool down, so a sweatshirt is a good choice. Now, today’s version is a cold-shoulder style, but it will still help with the cool breeze in the evening. And–even better–it is a piece I picked up from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, so it was a great buy!
This is the first of several posts of pieces from the Nordstrom Sale that I will be sharing. This will help me decide which to keep. So it would be great if you could weigh in with a comment! Your opinions could really help me, so please take just a second to post a comment at the end of this post.
The color of this top is one that virtually everyone looks good in! While I have green eyes, this shade makes them look very blue. And ruffles and cold shoulder tops are continuing to trend into the fall, as you could tell from the Nordstrom sale selections.
The shorts are by Wit and Wisdom. They were not part of the sale but were on the “Final Few” rack. I’ve had my eye on them for some time and the fit is great, so I picked them up. I will be able to wear them into the early fall and on those occasions where we have warm weather throughout the winter. I definitely needed a refresh on my denim shorts collection!
And white sneakers are always a good choice, aren’t they? So glad they are a popular look at present, but I would be wearing them anyway!
Finally, my famous photo-bomber Scooter just kept getting in the way, so I thought I would include him. He’s a super sweet little 13-year old Cairn Terrier. I guess he only likes candid shots!
In the background, you can see our Plumeria tree just starting to bloom. This tree started as an 8-inch long piece that we brought back from Hawaii more than 25 years ago. They grow well here in California. We have moved it from two houses, and it continues to flourish. They have a lovely smell.
Thanks for taking the time to check out today’s post. I hope you will check back in tomorrow as I continue to share some Nordstrom Sale picks.
