Can you believe the 4th of July is almost here?! Where did June go? As they say, time flies when you’re having fun! And speaking of fun, here’s a fun look for the 4th: a shredded hem crop jeans outfit. Can you say that fast 5 times? Lol!
There are lots of red, white and blue outfit ideas on Pinterest and many bloggers are styling some very patriotic outfits. But, if you prefer a more subtle look, try this one! And just for fun, try these shredded hem jeans!
The shredded hem crop jeans outfit
These fun pants came in my last Trunk Club. You may remember another pair of unusual fringe trim jeans from an earlier post. (View it here.) I didn’t keep those as they were just a little too funky (and pricey!), but they were very cute. This pair is a bit more wearable–and washable–as they are super soft and a tinier bit more subtle. I love the fit and do believe they will become part of my jeans wardrobe! The fit is “straight leg” style, so it’s a bit looser. They will look great with sneakers or flat sandals and a tee, too, for an ultra-casual outfit.
They are a designer brand, so a bit pricey, but I like to find and add unique things to my wardrobe every once in a while.
The earrings from Baublebar are just a bit over the top, but I like the colors and think they give this outfit a touch of red, white and blue spirit. Kind of boho, too, right? I ordered them online and didn’t realize quite how BIG they are, but they are super fun! What do you think of these earrings? The multi-color I am styling here are already sold out! So here is another cute pair that might be a bit more subtle, but still have the red, white and blue colors.
Faux leather clutch (comes in three colors!)
A red faux leather clutch adds the perfect contrast to the soft blue and white.
A white top with jeans is the quintessential summer look. I loved the contrast of this ultra-feminine top with the vintage style of the jeans and the uniqueness of the shredded hem. The top is under $60 and comes in a couple of solid colors as well as a polka-dot and two florals.
Of course, white mules are great with everything summer! This pair is getting LOTS of wear as they as so easy to style with most things in my closet. And the block heels are very comfortable which is something I look for in a shoe. This pair is only available in black-and-white gingham (so cute!) and I’ve linked to them here. There are SO many similar styles, and I linked to two of them above.
What are your plans for the 4th? And, naturally, the big question is: what are you planning to wear?! Haha! It’s always fun to pull out the red, white and blue in honor of our flag, so have fun! And if you want subtle, try a simple outfit like this one. You can still show spirit without going too crazy!
