It’s been a while since I’ve shared my “fix” from Stitch Fix as I took a short hiatus from participating in too many styling services. My recent fix is such a hit, however, I wanted to share it with all of you. And now, a little spring inspiration from Stitch Fix…
The Benefits of Stitch Fix
If you haven’t yet tried Stitch Fix, I really recommend it. You complete a profile letting your stylist know what your style is, what your needs are, and you can even share your own or your favorite Pinterest Board to let her know your preferences! Try on your five pieces of clothing at home and choose what to keep. Then, simply return the rest in the postage-paid bag provided. It’s really that simple.
The items come neatly folded and carefully wrapped–they are try-on ready right out of the box.
There are two things that especially appeal to me about Stitch Fix. One is the opportunity to try something I would never have picked for myself. This styling service has really helped me step outside the box in terms of my formerly conservative style. Secondly, many of the pieces are exclusive to Stitch Fix, so you won’t see them in stores and your friends won’t be wearing them. As I look through my closet, I see many high-quality and stylish pieces–all from Stitch Fix.
And no, they aren’t sponsoring this post or paying me for saying this (darn!). But since my goal is to share ways to live a more stylish life with all of you, I am sharing my personal perspective.
So, today I am revealing my latest pieces from Stitch Fix.
The first outfit is a very casual one. I was totally blown away by the fit of these jeans! (Not to mention by the darn coastal wind that kicked up just as we took these photos!!) They are from Kut from the Cloth and they actually come in my size–6P–which is hard to find!! Most designer jeans do not come in petite and the proportion is usually wrong even when hemmed. I love the slight distressing.
The top reminds me of a Lily Pulitzer tee in my closet, but costs a great deal less! A hooded zip-up sweatshirt in grey also came in the fix, but I already have one so didn’t try it on.
I love it with these lower platform espadrilles. It’s a great outfit to wear now and through the summer months.
OK, I LOVE this dress! The fit was perfect and the deep teal is so gorgeous–even without much color on my arms! I asked for some casual vacation pieces and this dress will be perfect for that. In the meantime, it is just the thing for the birthday party I am hosting in the near future for my husband. It’s a big one, so we’re ready to party!
I threw on my green suede slides but can see in the photos they don’t really work with this dress, so I will be trying some neutral sandals instead.
I love the navy embroidery at the neck and hem. It’s all about the details, right?
The Floral Top
This top is SO pretty. I actually love lilac and purple but don’t have a lot of it in my wardrobe. The soft mint background is very pretty, too. It will look great with jeans, slacks for work, or even a skirt.
The top seemed very sheer but once on, doesn’t require a camisole underneath. The vee neck and roll sleeves are so cute!
I’ve listed the names of the items under each photo so you can order yours from Stitch Fix. As I said they are all exclusive so you can only get them there. Give Stitch Fix a try and you’ll be glad you did!
