Hello, my friends!
Yesterday I shared the cute red top from my latest Fix and how I styled it with other items in my closet. Today I’m styling a leopard print sweater and black top from the same Fix.
Here are some similar tops:
Yes, still on crutches–ugh! But you can see the cute cross-tie design on the neck of this top. There are several variations on the market, but this is a nice soft one with a great fit. I wasn’t too sure about the jeans as they are quite distressed with the destroyed knees and an uneven hem that is actually cut in strips in the back. But when I see them in the picture, I think I am liking them more! They do have a great fit and color.
The sweater is really cute, too! It is actually mostly black on tan, but does look great with a black top! It would look nice with a colored top, too–especially a red or burgundy. Or even yellow!
Here is a look at some similar black leopard print cardigans:
To add a bit of color and contrast, I wore the pieces with my burgundy ankle heels–which I love!– and a great new faux leather bag from Nordstrom! The bag has shoulder straps as well, but I really liked the gold metal handles! It can look very casual or a little more dressy, which is nice. Best of all, this bag is under $50–how great is that?
I’m glad that hoop earrings are trending, since I have and wear a lot of them. I love these by Gorjana!
You can see that we had to rig up a sort of studio to take pictures inside, as it is really challenging to go up and down stairs in my crutches to take photos. My husband did a nice job on this, don’t you think? By the end. I was feeling pretty tired and was losing my balance. I’m trying very hard not to be too whiny about this ankle business, but it is hard. I am a person who likes to go a lot, and this is really cramping my style!! lol!
I hope you can see beyond the wrapped foot, to see how fun it is to put pieces like this together and to come up with your own version of this look. Of course, you could also subscribe to Stitch Fix and see what your stylist comes up with for you! As I’ve said before, you can tell them exactly what kinds of pieces you are interested in, including the price range (mine is medium), and choose how often you would like to receive your Fix. So easy and fun to do! Just click on the banner and this page to check it out for yourself. Or, check out this link.
