After the clear weather and high 80’s in Mexico, our coastal weather in the 70’s feels especially cool today! I see there are some pretty high temps around the country, and I hope you are all keeping cool.
Speaking of cool, today I am sharing two of my latest Stitch Fix selections from my third box. When I first took this blouse out of the box, I was afraid it would look a bit too old on me, and I am trying to avoid that possibility at all costs!! Haha! But I did love the bright floral pattern so decided to give it a try.
The fabric is a soft chiffon-like material. It buttons up the front with an open V-neckline and roll-tab sleeves. It’s actually made by Kut From the Kloth, a company famous for their jeans. I love the colors and the look, so this piece will be a keeper.
I asked for some shorts with a fuller leg and received these bright blue ones. I really like the fit of these and the soft Tencel fabric, made by Level 99, a Los Angeles clothing company. Another keeper!
Buying a blouse like this helps carry your wardrobe into the fall. My first thought was how great it would look with jeans. In the next photos, you will see the top with my Lila Ryan jeans, also from an earlier Stitch Fix box.
I am having SO much fun with this concept! Have you tried Stitch Fix? To start, you sign up and fill out your choices for style, sizing, fit, and even price range! A Stitch Fix Stylist assigned to you reviews your survey as well as your Instagram, FaceBook and whatever sources might help to determine your style. You choose how often you would like to receive a box–I chose every other month. There is a $20 charge for each box, which you can subtract from anything in your box that you decide to keep. You just complete a survey to check out and return anything you don’t want in an envelope provided. Honestly, it is SO easy. I wish I had taken advantage of this program when I was working 12-hour days! I know we are all doing more and more of our clothing shopping online, and having a personal online stylist who selects unique pieces according to your tastes is a wonderful time-saver!
If you are interested in giving Stitch Fix a try, you can check it out here. You won’t regret it!
Tomorrow I’ll show you another piece from my box. Thanks for taking the time to check out today’s post. I hope you will check back in tomorrow. As always, thanks for LIKING and SHARING my posts. I also appreciate that so many of you are following me on Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook
