Do you have at least one slip dress in your closet? I already have two–a leopard print and a coral version–and love them both! How about adding a druzy slip dress to your collection?
A sheath-style dress is surprisingly flattering on almost every body shape. This style typically has a straight fit so it hugs your curves with a tulip flutter at the hem.
Do I need another slip dress? Probably not. But this dress is perfect for travel as it fits easily into your suitcase and I plan to make up for the last year of lost travel as soon as possible!
Read on to see the many ways to style the slip dress now and later.
The Druzy Slip Dress
The floral-ish print on this dress is what sold me. It’s a kind of druzy pattern with all the little geometric shades of blue. I have a few other pieces described as “druzy” including some Kendra Scott jewelry items, which made me wonder where that term comes from.
So here is our lesson for today on the background for this fabric:
The other benefits of this inexpensive dress include:
- Sleeveless slip dress is a great addition to your sunny-day wardrobe
- Lightweight fabric
- V-neckline with adjustable straps
- Easy to dress up or down for a range of styling options
- Available in extended sizes — Women’s and Women’s Plus!
Style a Druzy Slip Dress Now
While a slip dress is certainly perfect for warm sunny weather and summer travel destinations, it can serve as a multi-season option as well. To illustrate, I’m styling some options for cooler days.
Here is a coral slip dress/sweater combo from the post, Five Easy Ways to Style a Slip Dress, with a cardigan sweater:
Now, back to the druzy print. First. how about with open-toe booties and a denim or leather jacket for a coolish transition look? A denim jacket or a biker jacket always adds a fun edge to any outfit and especially to an otherwise feminine dress.

Here is the druzy slip dress with a cropped denim jacket. The black leather bootie-sandals are a great transition shoe.
In terms of sizing, I am wearing my usual size Small. The straps are adjustable.
Wear It Later
Opportunities to style this dress as the weather warms up for spring are fast approaching. (We’re having a lovely high-70s heatwave so it was easy to wear and take pictures for this post!)
Druzy Slip Dress (in other colors, including soft coral and hot pink!) | Wedge Sandals
As spring kicks in and the weather warms up, tie a white shirt over your slip dress for an easy casual style. You can also tie a tee-shirt at the side waist for a cute look.
These wedge sandals are super comfortable and priced under $40. They are “vegan” meaning all man-made materials. They are available in black, tan, mauve, and other neutral colors.
You can always have your denim jacket on hand should the weather turn cool or you want to wear this dress in the evening.
Finally, when spring turns to summer, you can style it all by itself!
Are you a sneakers-with-dresses gal? Style this sleeveless dress with flats or sneakers for cool casual style.
Bottom line? You can’t go wrong with any slip dress due to the super flattering shape and versatility of this easy style. For fun, add a druzy slip dress and play with the many ways to style it for now and later.
