Good morning! If you are like many of us, you and your honey don’t make a huge fuss over Valentine’s Day and you prefer to celebrate with a quiet dinner at home. Some years we go out to dinner, and some we stay home. If that is what YOU are planning, you can still look stylish and romantic, too! My choice for an-at home celebration is a romantic Kimono top and I especially like this floral version. I have similar looks in previous posts and you can see two other looks with Kimono tops here and here.
The casual Kimono top outfit
This particular Kimono was one of those great finds on a clearance rack. I loved the combination of colors: the rich burgundy background with the pink and white floral pattern. Once again, you don’t have to wear red to celebrate Valentine’s Day! lol!
My rumba red suede ankle heels were a nice match with the Kimono top and they are one of my favorite pairs of shoes. And I could actually get them on my right foot! Woo hoo!
The Shopping Find
Kimono tops have been trending for some time, and while they are not a HOT item, they are a great piece to have in your wardrobe. Especially when you are entertaining at home or going for a romantic look. Here are some other floral kimonos:
You will notice that many are made of a black floral fabric. Black florals are totally trending right now so you will see more of that look.
What kind of occasion will you be celebrating on Valentine’s Day? Even if you are celebrating with your girlfriends or your honey, you can still look cute!
