I do not like snakes. At all. We even lost a beloved dog to a rattlesnake bite, so that closed the deal on liking snakes. But even I can’t deny that the patterns and colors of their skins are one of nature’s wonders. Fashion designers have picked up on that, too, and have used these prints in many ways. So I really couldn’t pass up trying out this snakeskin moto jacket that came in a recent Trunk Club selection.
Snakeskin Moto Jacket Outfit
How do you style a snakeskin moto jacket? Let me count the ways…
This outfit was not how I’d planned to style this jacket for a post. But after adding the jacket to a casual outfit, I liked it so much, I decided to share it here.
This striped tee is my absolute new favorite. It’s so soft and fits without being too tight–or loose. The slightly dropped shoulders are super flattering. A striped tee is one of those essentials to stock up on as new seasons approach and this one is a great choice.
The ankle jeans are older ones that I reach for when I want comfort. The lighter wash is so fresh for spring! Here is a similar pair of tapered light wash jeans.
These double-O belts are really great and you can see them all over blogger land! Inexpensive, yet super cute. They come in lots of colors. I bought a small, but would choose a medium to get it a bit longer.
How fun is this snakeskin moto jacket? I wasn’t too sure about this jacket until I put it on. The bronze color added to the “python” print gives it a rich sheen. I honestly thought it was leather, but it’s made with polyester and can be hand washed!
The snakeskin moto jacket is very well made and is one of those pieces you will wear for a long time.
My guess is you’ll see this jacket as the final touch for many outfits to come. So I hope you like it as much as I do!
For a snake-hater, I’ve styled lots of snakeskin patterned clothing! Read on, my friends…
My first foray into snakeskin was in a top in pink, in the post Go Wild in a Pink Snake Print Shirt. I ended up loving this top!
How about a just a touch of snakeskin print? I styled this cute top and bag in How to Style Paperbag Waist Pants.
Another venture into this pattern was with a maxi skirt, in the post Summer Style in a Snakeskin Maxi Skirt.
I keep planning to show you how to winterize this skirt! Coming soon…
So, even if you don’t like snakes, it’s fun and easy to style this print. Nature did an amazing job on this pattern, and designers have taken those designs and added them to a variety of fabrics and colors to bring them alive in fashion. (Forgive the pun alive!) If you haven’t yet, give snakeskin print a try.
