With the current state of affairs, how many of you are planning a casual look this year? How about a Valentine’s Day tee?
The beauty of a tee is that you can wear them anywhere under almost anything. And how many of you have a collection of graphic tees? Graphic tees have been a popular trend the last few years, and on and off over the years, too.
The tee I’m sharing today is from a vendor on Etsy. Etsy is a great place to look for something just a bit different and I have purchased a number of things from gifts to jewelry to nightgowns! You may remember the smocked cotton gown I shared in the post Sleepwear and Comforter for a Good Night’s Sleep. In the post, I shared my favorite all-cotton gown from Sister Sister.
Just in case you haven’t checked out Etsy, or at least not for a while, they describe themselves as “the global marketplace for unique and creative goods. It’s home to a universe of special, extraordinary items, from unique handcrafted pieces to vintage treasures.” You can also interact with most of the vendors to create unique items to your specifications, which is super fun to do!
All that to say that while there are lots of tees available for Valentine’s Day, mine is from a site on Etsy. I’ve linked lots of additional tees and sweatshirts below for you to check out.
The Valentine’s Day Tee Outfit
I was initially looking for a hot pink tee, but love the pretty pink and graphic design on this one. The touch of animal print to form the kiss is super cute, don’t you think?
I’m showing the tee several ways. For the first outfit, I’m styling, once again, satin joggers. (First shared in the holiday post, Style Satin Joggers for a Tuxedo Look.) One sweet reader commented that she would like to see more ways to style these and I am happy to do so as this is a style that is both comfortable and chic!
First, you will see the outfit with basic Adidas sneakers for a super casual look. Next, I’ve styled it with suede wedge booties.
I’m also showing the look with pink sandals (since I’ve had my first pedicure in almost a year, I don’t mind showing off my toes at last! Lol!), and then with a long cardigan. Feminine and cute! V-Day ready!
For a little edgier style, here is the Valentine’s Day tee with a slightly distressed denim skirt and booties. A natural colored utility jacket continues to supply just a bit of edginess.
Valentine’s Day Tees and Sweatshirts
Here are some cute options for graphic tees and sweatshirts:
Suggested Outfit Pieces
These are either the same or similar pieces to those I’m styling in the various outfits above:
However you decide to style and celebrate Valentine’s Day this year, I wish you a special time with those you love in the style that St. Cupid, the Greek God of love, intended.
This is an adorable tee Darlene, I t looks great with the sneakers and joggers. I have bought vintage earrings on Etsy but need to check out their tees, looks fun to wear for Valentine’s Day. Last year before Covid we went to a 5 wine dinner for Vday. It may just be take out this year if we do anything. :-0 chocolates are always welcome, I tell my hubby!
thanks for linking!

Haha! Yes, the chocolates sound about right to me, too! It will be a pretty basic celebration for us, too! Ugh. Oh, well. I’m enjoying Etsy and have actually ordered a vintage piece. We’ll see how that goes!! Thanks, Jess.

Adorable tee, Darlene! I really like this paler shade of pink on you. And the leopard print is such a nice little bit of edginess. Great outfits, too! I love Etsy and have a few things that I need to start shopping for on there…including your comforter! It is still on my list of things to buy! But you know, boot sales took precedence. LOL

Yes, boot sales should take precedence, my friend! After all, you are the queen of cool boots and have to retain your title in that regard!! So far, I am loving those green croc boots—SOOO cute! You’re on a roll–keep it up! Thanks, Shelbee.

I just discovered Etsy and saw some magnificent jewelry. Very unique. That tee is fun and combined with the satin trousers and heels is a outfit I love a lot! Have a great Sunday Darlene!
I hope your week is going well, Nancy. You can see I’m behind already! I am really loving Etsy! You and Shelbee have inspired me to buy a vintage piece and it’s on its way. Hopefully, it will fit and I can share it on the blog soon! Thanks!
