Hello, everyone! Today’s post is another idea for styling a skirt. Skirts are SO versatile. You can wear a summer skirt year-round by adding tights or leggings in the winter with a warm turtleneck and boots. In the spring, you can wear a cute tee or top with a cardigan sweater and booties, and when it’s warm, there is nothing better than a pair of sneakers and a graphic tee with a skirt. Of course, a jean jacket for a cool evening is always a great look.
This graphic tee is from Target and of course, I bought it for the saying on the front: More love, please! We could all use a lot more of that these days, right? It also had a good fit with cuffed sleeves and coming from Target, the price was right. Haha!
This is a great embroidered skirt I picked up at the Loft Outlet, but any floral skirt will work. (I found a VERY cute version that you can check out here.) You may have noticed there are any number of graphic tees in all the stores, and I’ll bet you all have one or more of these! For a casual outfit, a skirt and graphic tee work just fine!
White backpack (similar)
The perfect accompaniment is a backpack–a backpack just says casual and they are great for carrying LOTS of things easily.
I’m loving this white faux leather version. And white sneakers, while always in style, are really trending this year! So pull yours out and add them to just about any outfit for a casual vibe.
Wow, the legs are looking a little ghostly in these photos! Haha! Now that I am walking a lot again, I will have to wear shorts and see if I can give them a little color. Regardless, I have decided to celebrate my legs and wear what I want, and I charge you to do the same!
Pull out a floral skirt and throw on your sneakers and your favorite tee! (And you warm other clothes, for you guys who are dealing with the cold right now!) Flaunt those legs and remember to give a little more love, please!
Thanks for stopping by! I will continue to share skirt ideas throughout the week, so check back in and check it out.
