Hello, everyone! Yesterday I styled a puffy sleeve vest with red as the accent. (Check it out here.) Today I am styling the same puffy vest another way, so you can see just how versatile this wardrobe piece is for fall. I’m calling it puffy vest II! Clever? Or not…lol!

Our new dog, Sergeant
I’m also sharing a photo of the newest addition to our family. His name is Sergeant. We named him for our beloved Schnauzer Major who passed away this past summer. (As a friend said, we finally have an NCO or non-commissioned officer in the house! Haha!)We found him at our local shelter and thought he would make a great companion for Scooter, the photo bomber in many of my posts! So far, they are mildly interested in each other, but we think they will become fast friends over time. He is a well-trained dog and is very sweet.
The Outfit: Puffy Vest II
Since navy and white always look great together, I styled the vest with a bell-sleeved sweater shown in an earlier post. You can view it here. This is one of my favorite sweaters as it is lightweight and has the white trim on the full bell sleeves. Details make the garment, right?
Since I have to wear shoes with good support following the surgery (and sneakers are just about the only type that fit!), I HAD to go shopping. Painful, right? Haha! I found these white sneakers made by Ecco that will do the job and look cute, too! While they are not inexpensive, they are extremely comfortable. I read a lot of reviews about how people wore these shoes to sightsee throughout Europe and absolutely loved them. So I tried them on and so far have to agree. If you are looking for some very comfortable sneakers that are also on trend, check these out. They come in a beautiful gray, tan and black, too.
I am styling my newest jewelry by Kendra Scott. I chose the necklace as it is both gold and rose gold–a mix that looks so pretty. The earrings are another version of the same with a little bling in the rose gold. So fun!
You may have noticed I am pretty casual this week! With so much to do, and so little time, we all need to be comfortable, right? I have some gorgeous dress looks I am hoping to share and I am hoping they will look alright with sneakers! Yikes! Or maybe I will be able to squeeze my foot into some heels? We shall see…
Thanks for stopping by today!
