Today’s post is all about my love of baseball–especially the Angels! (All of us in OC despise the ridiculous name they are currently required to go by–The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim–and will always think of them as the Anaheim Angels.) As I mentioned in an earlier post, I went to games the year that Angel Stadium opened with my two younger brothers–we were “Junior Angels” which was good for a game, a hotdog and a drink for $3. Such fun!
My brother has great seats and so we went to the game yesterday afternoon. I picked up the latest addition to my baseball wardrobe, a raglan-sleeve version, called a baseball T-shirt. (Imagine that!)
How cute is that, right? I loved the mix of red and gray.
As I said, my brother has great seats near third base, and here are some of the photos from the game:
Since I didn’t buy my baseball regalia until I got to the stadium, I wore an older Angel tee that is a basic short sleeve. Of course, my brother and sister-in-law also wore their Angel gear. Although I sure didn’t need it, I took my Angel sweatshirt along, too.
Here are some shots of me and two of my favorite players:
Despite all of our donning of the Angel gear, the game was a bust!! The Rangers won the game 8-3 and, unlike earlier games, our beloved Angels didn’t rally in the 9th. Maybe if I had taken my Rally Monkey things would’ve been different!! Haha! Oh, well, it’s always a fun day at a baseball game!!
As I look at these photos, I see a sea of red! Wow! Talk about team spirit!! Who is your favorite team?
I hope you enjoyed my trip to the Angel game and that it will inspire you to see a game soon. Please follow me on Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and Facebook. It really helps to grow my blog following.
Have a fabulous weekend, and I look forward to connecting with you all on Monday!
