Happy Friday, everyone!
What are your plans for the weekend? We’ve been having nice warm days, but the evenings and mornings have been very cool. Perfect weather for a long cardigan!
This is the same cardigan from yesterday’s post styled more casually. It is another monochromatic look in gray, which can be so pretty! Gray is such a great color and goes with so many other colors!
There is nothing especially creative about this kind of outfit, but it just works, so is a safe bet. My intention is to give you inspiration for taking the basic pieces you already have and putting them together in different ways.
I styled my Gap long cardigan dress as a cardigan (imagine that! lol!), with my Articles of Society slightly ripped jeans. The top is one I purchased last year and has a cute off-white pleated ruffle. Details make all the difference!
I really love the length and fit of this cardigan. It is a ribbed fabric that flows nicely and doesn’t stick to you.
In keeping with a neutral gray theme, I wore my gray suede mules. ( Well, make that my ONE shoe!) For jewelry, I added a sparkly tassel necklace and simple disk earrings.

tassel necklace (similar) // crossbody bag
Thanks for hanging in there with me while my ankle heals! I can’t wait to get some new scenery for my photos! Next week I will start sharing ideas for the holidays–including decorating ideas, holiday styles, and gift ideas. And I am hoping I will be closer to being able to actually walk on my foot.
Thanks for stopping by today! If you are enjoying my blog I would appreciate you signing up for my daily emails. You only get one email a day with a link to the newest post.
