Good morning! As promised, I am styling the striped skirt one more way to demonstrate how easy it is to mix and match items in your wardrobe. The look today is a casual outfit that can be worn for shopping, to dinner or even a casual party event. You can view the other two looks here and here.
The casual outfit
Picking up on the gray in the skirt, I added a simple tee and booties. The top is one from an earlier post and it is from Stitch Fix, but here is a similar one. I wasn’t big on the choker collar style this past season, but I liked this tee for a casual outfit.

Yes, the legs are looking a little pale here! Haha! Normally, I’m able to keep some color on my legs by doing lots of walking and hiking but the darn ankle surgery and recovery sure limited that! So, white legs it is! Like my friend says, these are my legs and I’m wearing them! LOL! I am very fond of these asymmetrical booties in gray and wear them a lot with a casual outfit. And they are on sale!
This gray crossbody bag got a lot of use this fall and winter. It has plenty of room but is still stylish. You can see a super cute version from Sole Society here.

With the choker neckline, the only jewelry needed is silver hoop earrings. These are by Gorjana and they look good with everything and certainly with a basic casual outfit.
What are your plans for the weekend? If your weather is a tad bit colder, you could add some leggings or tights and add a warm coat and you’d be ready to go!
