Hello dear friends,
As promised, I am sharing the many ways I styled my grey coated jeans on our recent cruise. I bought the pants when I was looking online at Nordstrom’s selection of NYDJ (Not Your Daughter’s Jeans) before the trip. They proved to be worth every penny! They were pretty pricey, and now I am seeing them on sale in the Half-Yearly Sale at Nordstrom. You can pick them up now for about $88! They are the Ami stretch skinny jean, Platinum silver coated. They are pretty true to size, like all NYDJ, and I am wearing the 6 petite.
In this outfit that I wore on the cruise, you can see I styled them pretty casually, with a striped tee and knit poncho. (You have seen this poncho before in my first post. I bought two colors at the Haystacks store in Leland, Michigan, on our trip late last summer.) Sorry for the picture quality–it was challenging to find the right light in our stateroom and on the ship!

Next, I added an open-knit top over a tank. I picked this up some time ago at T.J. Maxx, because I loved the colors–the yellow, silver and white. It really picked up the silvery shine in the coated pants.
Finally, I added a top with some bling for a bit more formal look. This sequined top was another T.J. Maxx find–for $20! The statement necklace was from Nordstrom and was marked down to $35–a great find!
I bought this pair of silver shoes to wear for evening and casual outfits. These block-heeled sandals have been trending this winter and the lower heeled “Irenee” by Steve Madden are fairly comfortable, though I wouldn’t wear them for an extended period of time. I got mine at Nordstrom for around $80.
