Today it’s all about the booties! I bought these suede and calf hair booties in an animal print prior to my surgery and have been dying to wear them! Yes, they are on my feet–including the right one!–but I won’t be walking very far in them! lol! I’m just excited that I could actually get my foot in it!
The calf hair booties and bag
Normally I wouldn’t carry a bag with nearly the same print, but it actually worked in this outfit. (The prints are better matched than they appear in the photos.) These booties are from Lands End. I like to find shoes and items that can’t be found everywhere and I often find things there with a little different look. The clutch is by BP from Nordstrom and a stylish piece for a reasonable price. Check it out here.
While we have had some nice sunny days, it really cools down at night, so a long cardigan is a great choice for warmth. You can see it styled another way from a previous post here. A simple cross tie black top and black designer jeans served as the perfect backdrop. It’s a super easy way to throw an outfit together: black pants and top with a cardigan and interesting shoes, bag or scarf, and voila!! An easy yet stylish outfit for a cool day or evening!
I added some great tassel earrings which are no longer available, but check out this very cute, inexpensive pair that is similar!
From time to time I come across great little items that I thought I would share with you. At this time of year, you might also consider one for a holiday gift. Today I am sharing an item that would be great for travel. Anybody on your list who likes to travel?
I bought this iron for our 16-day cruise last year and it was lightweight and easy to pack. I use it now when I just need to do a touch-up! It really works! Check it out!
