Happy Monday, everyone!
I hope you all had a great weekend. Once again, we are having a gray, rainy day. Not much rain, just enough to keep things wet.
So, in honor of the day, I decided I had to add a little bit of color as I ran my errands. My yellow rain jacket is just enough to repel the rain and I use the hood as needed to run in and out without having to use an umbrella or wear a big jacket. One lady told me I looked like a little bumblebee, and I had to laugh! She said she meant she thought it was bright and cute. Haha!
My cute little bumblebee jacket is an inexpensive one I picked up at Target last year. I needed something to keep the rain off and block the wind for my trip to Michigan as I knew we would be on my BFF’s boat. Speaking of bumblebee, as we were standing at the harbor in Leland Michigan, looking out at the water, a bee came up and stung me on the neck! I hadn’t had a bee sting since I was a little kid! (It really stung, and took about two weeks for the lump to go away!) I guess the bee liked my yellow, too. :=)
I bought these “fun” earrings at Nordstrom Rack last spring and I thought they would look good with my jacket. Another conversation piece!!
My tunic top is from J Jill. It is a couple of years old and I pull it out when I need something just a little warm. The fabric has a soft flannel-like backing that adds warmth and body to the top. It’s really soft and comfortable. (There’s that c-word again!)
By adding my blue velvet booties and “Budapest” bag, with the green, yellow and blue, I was ready to go!
I am SO looking forward to the warm spell that is headed our way. It’s expected to be around 70 degrees by mid-week and sunny. Yay! I love it when the sun shines. I’m much more energetic and motivated.
I am trying to grow my following and would so appreciate it if you would like and share my post. Just click on the buttons below.
Warmly,
Darlene
