Hello, Everyone,
Today I am styling a cute tie-dye top for summer with cropped, flared jeans. While you have seen these crops in previous posts, I wanted to highlight this look as it will be continuing into the fall. This fall and winter, you will see many versions of the flared and wide leg in pants and crops. We are already seeing it in shorts. So it is a look that is here to stay for a while and since it is flattering on almost everyone, that’s a good thing.
Today I am also styling this tie-dye top with tassel ties (try to say that real fast, five times!). There are lots of versions of this style and the tassels make it on trend. I bought mine last summer in Leland, Michigan at that great shop I have told you about: Haystacks. Since we will be visiting there again over Labor Day, I am looking forward to lots of shopping trips with my BFF, and will share one or two of those trips and my fashion finds with all of you.
Tie-dye items have been around a long time and continue to come back again and again after their introduction in the 60’s. It seems like I have had some version of this technique in some wardrobe piece ever since. Done right, it’s a great look!
In addition to my blue velvet slides, I am wearing my blue Eiffel Tower bracelet and carrying my tan cross-body bag. I love the tan color in bags–and shoes–as it goes with everything. Do you have some tan leather pieces in your wardrobe?
Finally, I am loving the textures and colors in earrings this season. It appears that this trend will also continue into the fall, along with simple gold pieces. I added these great earrings with the greens and blues to tie into the rest of the outfit, yet introduce another color.
This outfit would be perfect for shopping, lunch with a girlfriend, or even a casual dinner date.
Thanks for taking the time to check out today’s post. As always, thanks for LIKING and SHARING my posts. I also appreciate that so many of you are following me on Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook
Check back in tomorrow to see how my Cabo trip preparations are coming along!
Until then,
Darlene
