Are you looking for something different to wear for a late summer event? Well, I have just the thing: two gorgeous dresses from Eliza J. I am not being sponsored by or paid by that clothing line, but when I am looking for something beautifully made and well-fitting, this line is the one I go to. Have you tried Eliza J dresses?
Eliza J dresses are perfect for so many occasion when you need a classy dress. Wedding guest? Check. Mother-of-the-Bride (or Groom!)? Check. A concert? Check. Dinner party? Check. These dresses are always in style and look good on everyone.
The classic white shift dress
The first of the two Eliza J dresses is this classic shift. A shirt style dress is a basic piece for me as they tend to flatter my shape. This style is flattering for most any shape. The details that set this shift apart, however, are the lace eyelet overlay fabric and the tassel along the hem. And the standup collar and vee neck are a nice touch and serve to elongate the neck. Once again, a prime example of how details make the difference!
This dress was in a Trunk Club selection last month. I love it for its classic and classy feel. You could go many ways with accessories on a dress like this, such as contrasting shoes and bag in bright colors or even neutrals. I wanted to give it a crisp, clean feel so went with all white, as you can see.
I love the look of these clean architectural mules. Still my favorite! And a little white shoulder bag goes with everything. You don’t have to spend a lot on cute accessories like these, but they can really make your outfit.
The romantic floral dress
This yellow floral fabric is so pretty. Do you love florals? They are showing a lot this fall in all kinds of fashion items. This romantic style dress can be dressed up or down. For this post, I chose to take it down a notch and styled it with denim espadrilles. It would be perfect for an outside concert! And the perfect accompaniment would be a denim jacket, right? It’s amazing how a denim jacket goes with almost anything, and definitely create a great contrast to a frilly or feminine dress.
Again, details, details. The bow shape of the neckline is super flattering. And the ties on the sleeves give it that romantic touch, as does the tiered skirt.
I kept the look simple with the addition of espadrille sandals but added tassel earrings and a bright bag to make it pop.
So, if you are in the market for a unique dress that is well-made and perfect for any occasion, be sure to take a look at Eliza J dresses. They are lovely and a wonderful choice if you are looking for something different. And these two are just right for that late summer event–for that last gasp of summer.
