Friday is here at last! For all my working friends, I remember this day as a great day to finish up my week’s projects, reflect on the successes for the week, and slow down a bit in readiness for the weekend. Sound familiar? Even though I no longer report for an 8-5 job, I still feel that way!! Thirty + years of habit ingrained. Lol! Speaking of reflection, I want to tell you a little bit more about my fat loss journey and where I am now in the process in hopes of inspiring you!
The Faster Way to Fat Loss Program (FWTFL)
After the first six weeks of the Faster Way to Fat Loss Program, I decided to go for Round 2 to ensure that I had the protocols down. And they offered a reduced rate for the second round: a smart marketing move on their part, and a great way to internalize the program. The first 6-week program was $199, and the second was $130–a great incentive to repeat! They also added an offer for my husband to join with me for just $49–which he did!
My husband has always been a “gym rat” with lots of muscle, but losing fat has been a challenge. He is already seeing results in his third week. This is what he had to say about the program.
This program is totally workable as well as sustainable. I like the collaboration with the FWTFL coach and using the food diary to keep track of macros. It’s easy to follow and use! I am in the third week and feeling some results. I feel energetic and in control.
My good friend Lorie read my earlier post about the success I was having with the program and decided to give it a try. She has always been focused on exercise and healthy eating but wanted strategies to slim down a bit. We have both found that the secret is to lose the excess fat! Here is what she had to say about the program:
I’m in my 5th week on the program and loving it. I am exercising religiously and like being re-educated about food, eating and the relationship with exercise. Thanks for introducing me to FWFL.
The Strategies Behind the FWTFL
Some of the strategies employed in the program are intermittent fasting, carb cycling, monitoring of macronutrients, and high-intensity interval training. There are many participants who are prepping to do marathons and such so it’s easy to feel like a lightweight at times! Lol! Nevertheless, I am working back into an exercise program that works for me. I’ve been encouraged by the developer of the program, Amanda Tress, who stresses “progress over perfection” and explained that the program can be very successful without participating in the included workouts. Going at my own pace and within my personal limits has worked for me! The workouts are outlined at the beginner as well as “gym” and “home” levels.
It may seem crazy to participate in an online fat loss program, but the support and help via the private Facebook group have been great. I have learned how to monitor and control my food intake to ensure my health even after I complete the program.
The next round is coming soon and there is still room to register. Just click here if you would like to check out the program. You can read more about intermittent fasting and macronutrients, too. Be sure to read outside research as well. I found lots of information to support this approach.
Whatever strategy you use to feel fit and in shape, it is important to find the best approach for your lifestyle. It’s not about weight, but about how healthy you are and how you feel in your body. It really makes a difference, and my fat loss journey with FWTFL has made a real difference for me!

Hi Jacqui! Yes, it’s a constant battle, especially over 40, right? But I feel really good, which is the most important thing. Thanks for the comment–glad you enjoyed it. Happy Friday!!
