Woohoo! The long-awaited new year is here at last! While we are all super excited, not to mention cautiously optimistic about what this new year will bring, I thought it might be fun to revisit some high (or low, depending on your perspective!) points for 2020.
Let’s start with the overall yuckiness of the year. I think this sidewalk sandwich board is the perfect way to generalize the whole damn year!
And how about the hoarding of essentials and the resulting shortages? We almost had a disaster at our house after not taking this shortage seriously!
Finally, how interesting is it that “social distancing” is a good thing? 2020 was not the year for collaboration–except via Zoom! I think the most remembered phrase might be, “Your mic is muted!” Lol!
Gotta love that, right? Cause it’s so true. If we learned anything from this cluster of a year, it’s that relationships with the people we care about are truly the most important thing.
On that note, I want to thank all of you for following me, commenting on my posts, sharing your thoughts and ideas, and being “there”–whether in person or virtually.
Here’s to a wonderful 2021 and all our hopes and expectations for a truly great new year!
