Happy Hump Day, my friends!
Several folks have been asking me questions about the delicate subject of undergarments. Give the nature of this post, it will be short and sweet. lol
Like many of you, I have gone through long periods of trial and error to find undergarments that fit and feel comfortable. And, let’s face it, the body does change over time. The garments that I am wearing now have worked for some time and I am happy to share them with you, as well as how to find them online.
I am a bit of a latecomer to Spanx, but a few years ago, a salesperson at Nordstrom suggested I try the Bra-llelujah! I was very pleasantly surprised, and have bought it in all the colors available. It is a front hooking bra with really soft straps that don’t need to be adjusted. For halter neck tops or dresses or tops with a narrower cut at the neck, the v-back bras (on the right) work great!
There are just some dresses that require a smoother line underneath, and once again, I found two smoothers from Spanx that I use from time to time. I feel constrained with too much “power”, so I prefer these lightweight versions. I have the short and longer leg styles.
In a quest to find cotton underwear, I bought high-cut briefs from Wacoal at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. If you like cotton, these are a great find. They are super comfortable and don’t ride up–two good things in undies.
