White jeans are one of the most versatile pants to have in your wardrobe. They have become a wardrobe staple, as they can be styled and stylish year-round! The best thing of all? They can be paired with almost anything. Pastels, vibrant colors, prints, plaids, solids–just about anything goes! You just have to tie in your accessories to make it work. Today, I am styling some great-fitting white jeans and two solid tops that are perfect right now for spring and will easily take you into the summer.
The white jeans
These well-made jeans came in my last trunk from Trunk Club. If you haven’t tried them yet, do give it a try. If you have a Nordstrom account, there is absolutely no charge. And best of all, no commitment to buy! It’s a great way to try on new things at home where you can look around your closet and see what you can pull together using what you already have and any “interesting” items in the trunk. How fun is that?
Being on the shorter side, I have a hard time with designer jeans as most are made for you lucky taller gals. And to have them hemmed and altered after paying designer prices just adds insult to injury. I mentioned this to my Trunk Club Stylist, Ashley, so this time she included these white jeans by Eileen Fisher. They are beautifully made and sized, and yes, a bit pricey. A good fit for something you will wear a lot is worth the price, however. Especially for a basic piece like white jeans.
The side drawstring top
Included in my trunk were a number of tops at various price points. My problem? I liked them all!! Grrr…
The first is this adorable side drawstring top. Of course, I love the lemon yellow!! (I did mention to my stylist that I like yellow. You may have noticed it, too, if you’ve been following me for a while! Lol!) It is by Vince Camuto and priced fairly.
The fabric is silk-like which means it could easily be dressed up or down.
For a more casual look for spring, I styled it with my crisscross suede sandals and a straw bag. A pendant necklace and hoop earrings are the only accessories.
The chambray designer top
The second look is styled with the same white jeans and a ruffled cotton top. I didn’t think I would like it, to be honest, but the details in the top and the beautiful fabric really set it off. As I said, it is a designer top, so carries a hefty price tag.
I styled it with my circular woven bag. I get SO many compliments on this bag! Even my son commented on it, and that is saying something! Haha! Silver statement earrings added a fun touch and are the only jewelry needed for this top. Summery slide sandals kept the look simple.
Don’t you just love those sleeves?!! I just couldn’t justify the price with all the clothes I buy for the purpose of sharing them with all of you. But if you are looking for a beautiful, unique top, this might be the one!

Love these looks! So springy and pretty in your white jeans. I just bought a pair of white skinny jeans and wear them often. The yellow top is lovely in this soft butter yellow and i love the pretty light blue on you, great colors! Of course i love the straw circle bag.

This makes me want to pull out my white jeans for the summer! Lovely Post.
Thanks for the nice comment, Marianna! White jeans are so great year-round, aren’t they? Have a great week.

Your circular woven bag is adorable!! Just a couple of questions before I order one. First, with just a loop for closure, do you ever find the purse accidentally opening up? Second, the reviews state that the purse smells like smoke when you get it and it has to be aired out. Did this happen to you?
I love your sunny blogs!!! Michigan still hasn’t succumbed to Spring yet, so I’m living warmer weather through you. Have a great Monday.
Hi Lori,
I read that, too, but I didn’t have any issues with my bag smelling. So far, the clasp has held just fine. I hope that doesn’t happen!
The weather has been so crazy this year! I just returned from Sacramento where it is usually very warm this time of year and we actually had hail and rain! Yikes. Hang in there–spring is coming!
xoxo Darlene
